What we collect and why

We never see or store your full card details. Stripe handles them.
We don't send you marketing emails, and we don't sell your data.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the shop. Each one processes your data for us under its own data protection terms.
- Stripe: takes payment, sends your receipt and screens for fraud.
- Resend: sends the email with your download links.
- Vercel: hosts the website and the download.
- Microsoft: hosts our email inbox, if you write to us.
- TikTok: receives advertising events, only if you accept cookies.
We may also share data where the law requires it, for example with HMRC.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these services store or process data in the United States or elsewhere outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK-US data bridge) or by the UK's approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 6 years after the end of the tax year, as UK tax law requires.
- Emails with you: up to 2 years after we last spoke, unless needed for a dispute.
- Email delivery records at Resend and hosting logs at Vercel: as set by those services, usually 30 days or less.
- The cookie choice saved in your browser: until you clear it.
Cookies and browser storage
The site only places TikTok's advertising cookie if you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click No thanks, nothing loads from TikTok.
We also save small items in your own browser that never leave it: your cookie choice, and your order reference on the thank-you page so the download still works if you refresh. These are needed for the site to work.
To change your cookie choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings and you'll be asked again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data
- correct it
- delete it, where we don't have to keep it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- send it to you or another company in a common format
- stop using it for anything you consented to, at any time

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
Age
The guide is for adults. Some of the tools it covers require you to be 18 or over, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
